Seed, the Most Nutritionally Complete Food Source
Seeds of the plant cannabis sativa – also known as hemp seed, contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary to maintain healthy human life. No other single plant source has the ennential acids in such an easily digestible form, nor has the essential fatty acids in as perfect a ratio to meet the nutritional needs of human beings. Thus hemp seed and hemp seed oil may be considered to be the most nutritionally complete food source in the world.
Continual over-consumption of saturated fats and refined vegetable oils can turn essential fatty acids into harmful compounds and ignorance of complete human nutritional needs may lead to degenerative conditions.
There are eight amino acids that must fully come from the human diet and two more that the body cannot make in sufficient quantity. A diet without these amino acids will be nutritionally incomplete. Proteins are made from amino acid peptide chains in specific sequences and the number of possible amino acid peptide combinations is nearly infinite.
Flax seed and other seeds in the plant kingdom contain essential amino acids, but the hemp seed also contains the protein globulin edistin in roughly 65%, which is the highest in the plant kingdom. Globulin is the third most abundant protein in the human body and serves to perform many enzymatic reactions within the blood plasma. Globulins help support the immune system.
CBD or Cannabidiol is a natural constituent of the hemp plant that has shown significant health and wellness benefits – CBD promotes and supports the dietary and nutritional health of aging bodies (US Government patent # 6,630,507).
Endocannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds that have recently been found to exist in the human body. One of the remarkable things about endocannabinoids is their striking resemblance to ingredients of the Industrial Hemp plant, known as phyto-cannabinoids. Scientists who were researching and trying to understand the exact effect of cannabis in the human body were the ones that paved the way to the discovery of the endocannabinoid system. Cannabidiol or CBD as it is known is one of the most abundant of the hemp-based phytocannabinoids (source: Journal of Nutraceuticals http://www.davoil.ro/documente/the-composition-of-seed-oil-and-its-potential-as-an-important-source-nutrition.pdf). When introduced to the human body it has shown health and wellness benefits
Did you know that one acre of hemp sequesters 2 tons of carbon from our atmosphere? So says US Hemp Oil’s Christopher J Boucher. Chris was the first American to plant a hemp crop in over 50 years back in 1994 at the USDA Research Station at Imperial Valley California. Chris has helped our developmental team source and produce a CBD cultivar of hemp seed and stalk.

Universally accepted following its discovery in 1995, the endo-cannabinoid system asserts health and wellness power. Cannabinoids trigger potent health and wellness benefits http://csglobe.com/high-on-health-cannabinoids-in-the-food-supply/. Products are now available where these cannabinoids, particularly cannabidiol (CBD) have been extracted from the industrial hemp plant and combined into a supplemental product – providing a unique and futuristic health and wellness experience.
The endocannabinoid system within the human body is one of science’s newest and most exciting discoveries. Here there are two receptor sites on cells of the brain, internal organs and digestive tract (CB-1 and CB-2) that have been shown to be the largest neuro-transmitter system with the entire human body. This neuro-transmitter system regulates relaxation, eating, sleeping and even cognitive function. Phyto-cannabinoids or plant based cannabinoids, such as CBD can assist the body’s health and wellness.
